Ti Forn

'Ti Forn' is Breton language, literally translated means 'house of
the old oven'. This building is still the house of the oven, though
no longer used, the bread oven is still in place along with many
of the ancient baking-related devices and tools.

The baking house itself has been sympathetically restored to become
'Ti Forn' - the Art Centre of Le Quiou village.

Ti Forn is arranged on two levels, the lower level being a study and workshop area used for the creative study holidays and for day courses. The upper level is a private Gallery and has a permanent exhibition showing work by artists working and living in the area, both French and English. This upper level is also used for themed exhibitions and presentations throughout the year.
