The Old Boulangerie and Ti Forn are a centre for
creative studies and holidays in Brittany, France.
Both are owned and run by Artists and Creators, English and French, in support of
continuing the Franco-Britannique associations.
The Old Boulangerie itself is the main house and residential part of the centre and Ti Forn is the Art centre and study area.
The residential creative holidays offer a chance to learn and exchange artistically. The courses are combined with activity and entertainment ideas for your free time. Creativity comes in many forms and at Ti Forn we do not limit the boundaries of creative expression. Alongside the courses in the creation of visual arts we offer courses in poetry, creative writing, music, theatre and film. We also offer ourselves as a venue, if you have a project to exhibit or a conference to arrange.
We open all year round providing residential creative holidays. We also offer work experience holidays either, working alongside artists on specific projects or, general work exchange holiday programmes. Language tuition and Life Coaching sessions can be arranged during your stay in accordance with your individual levels and needs.
Brittany has much to offer culturally, visually and artistically so by mixing your course study with some of the local colour, we hope to inspire your creativity and at the same time offer you a relaxing holiday. Walking and cycling are a popular pastime in Brittany and an excellent way to become familiar with your surroundings and meet the locals.
They are also a good way to discover the nearby Gallo-Roman Archaeological site and the privately-owned 15th century Chateau de Hac, both a short walk away. There is also Dinan, steeped in history and oozing art, an inspirational essential on your holiday.
Our courses are aimed at all levels of experience and although studies are in a group environment there is much opportunity for one-to-one attention with the tutor. Group sizes are normally between 5 and 8 people with a maximum of 10 people per course. Each holiday course has a main tutor and an assistant. If the tutor is French then the assistant will be English and bilingual.
